Who We Are

Innovators in Nutraceutical Contract Manufacturing

NutraLab Canada Corp. is a Canadian contract manufacturer of private label vitamins and natural health products, operating from our Health Canada site-licensed facility at 980 Tapscott Rd, Scarborough, Ontario. For 25 years our formulators, QA specialists and regulatory staff have taken brand concepts from first sample to sealed, labelled, palletized finished goods.

We build for importers, distributors, pharmacy chains, practitioner lines and e-commerce brands that need documented traceability — not just a price per bottle. Every batch is manufactured under written specifications, tested against identity, potency and micro limits, and released only with a signed Certificate of Analysis.

  • Dedicated project manager from formulation brief to final shipment
  • Raw-material identity testing and supplier qualification on every lot
  • Full batch records retained for regulatory and customer audits
  • Confidential formulas — IP ownership stays with your brand

How We Work

Our 6-Step OEM Process

A transparent workflow with defined deliverables at each stage — so you always know what is approved, what is in production and what is next.

Step 01

Consultation

We review your target market, claims, budget and volume, then advise which dosage form and packaging format realistically fit your launch plan.

Step 02

Formulation & Quote

Our R&D team drafts the formula, sources qualified raw materials and returns a written quotation with MOQ, unit cost and lead-time breakdown.

Step 03

Regulatory & Licensing

In-house regulatory specialists prepare Health Canada NPN submissions and review label claims against the rules of your destination market.

Step 04

Artwork & Samples

Pilot samples, stability considerations and print-ready artwork are confirmed before any commercial batch is scheduled.

Step 05

Manufacturing & QC

Production runs under GMP batch records with in-process checks; finished goods are released only after specification testing.

Step 06

Packaging & Shipping

Filling, labelling, cartoning and palletizing are completed in-house, with export documentation packaged with your shipment.

Why Choose NutraLab

What Overseas Buyers Actually Evaluate

Beyond unit price, experienced importers assess licensing, documentation and repeatability. Here is how we perform on each.

Verifiable Compliance

Manufacturing operates under a Health Canada site licence and GMP standards. Batch records, raw-material certificates and finished-product testing are available for buyer and third-party audits — the paperwork that clears customs and satisfies retail listing reviews.

Single-Source Product Lines

Softgels, tablets, capsules, liquids and powders run in one facility, with gummies through audited partners. A 12-SKU range can share one QA standard, one artwork workflow and one consolidated shipment instead of five vendors.

Scale That Grows With You

Start with a launch batch, then scale into repeat production without changing supplier or re-validating a formula. More than 2,500 SKUs leave our facility each year, from first-time brands to established distributor programs.

Regulatory & Export Support

NPN submissions, label claim review, Certificates of Analysis and Certificate of Free Sale requests are handled internally, reducing the back-and-forth that typically delays first shipments into new markets.

Predictable Communication

One project manager owns your file end to end. You receive status on formulation, licensing, artwork and production instead of chasing separate departments across time zones.

Proven Track Record

More than 500 supplement brands have reached market with NutraLab, supported by 20 industry awards and certifications earned over 25 years of continuous operation in Ontario, Canada.

Buyer Questions

Contract Manufacturing FAQ

Minimum order quantities depend on dosage form and packaging format. Tablets and capsules generally start lower than softgels or gummies, because softgel and gummy lines require larger batch volumes to keep fill weight and dose uniformity within specification. Every written quotation confirms MOQ, batch size and pricing tiers so you can compare landed cost accurately.
A project moves through six stages: consultation, formulation and quotation, regulatory licensing, artwork and sampling, manufacturing with QC release, then packaging and shipping. Existing stock formulas progress quickly, while fully custom formulas requiring a new Health Canada NPN take longer because licensing review time sits outside our control. We provide a stage-by-stage schedule with your quote.
Yes. Our in-house regulatory team prepares Natural Product Number (NPN) submissions, reviews label claims for compliance, and issues Certificates of Analysis, Certificates of Free Sale and manufacturing statements commonly requested by distributors and customs authorities in the 35+ markets we serve.
Softgels, tablets, two-piece capsules, liquid syrups and powders are manufactured at our Scarborough, Ontario site. Gummies are produced through audited manufacturing partners under the same specification and documentation controls, so a mixed-format product line can still be managed as one program.
Packaging is included. Bottling, blister packing, liquid sachets, powder sachets, capsule/tablet combo packs, liquid filling and cartoning are all completed in-house. Keeping bulk and finishing under one roof means a single batch record, faster turnaround and fewer handling risks between suppliers.
Your brand does. Custom formulas developed for your project, along with brand names and artwork, remain your intellectual property. Confidentiality agreements are standard practice before technical details are exchanged.
